Green Ambassador ProgramHi All,We are excited to share some exciting GREEN news ...By the Park @ Lihwan will be participating in this program to raise the awareness of recycling and reducing the use of plastic bags.We will kick start the program with a " I'm Green! I'm Green! I'm Super Green!" party on Friday 29th of July. We will be organising many games that will revovlve around being "Green"For example children will learn to sort items like pastic, paper and glass and making a banner. We are also organising a "Super Greenie" costume competition for the children. Parents are encouraged to work on this 'super hero" costume from recycled materials.. Have fun and we are looking forward to your wacky ideas! =)On the 1 of August, we will be bringing the Tots, N1, N2, K1, K2 children to the Giant Hypermart in Tampines to kick start the Green Ambassador Program. The Green Ambassador program hopes to encourage recycling by awarding stickers to children who refuse plastic bags when shopping in Giant, Cold Storage, Shop and Save and 7 Eleven. The children will then collect and affix the stickers in a 'passbook' that will be given out on the 1 August. At the end of September the school will collect all the passbooks and submit to organising commitee. We hope to achieve at least a bronze medal and look forward to work closely with you to raise the children's awareness on recycling. Teachers will be talking to the children on this project in class. Looking forward to your support! (Please look at the attached file for more information AND Do not loose the passbook!)Be Green! Be Super Green!... no envy .. just RRR!.....recycle, reduce and reuse!!..=)CheersThe Green Team @ Li Hwan
